Master of the Craft - Daggerheart

This is by far one of my favorite pieces I have ever done. It meant a lot to me the idea of an artist, and doing art, as a way to cast a spell/ability/skill that could be useful in a campaign. I think it's easy to think of a sorcerer summoning a golem, but far more interesting to imagine a lady sculptor pouring love tears and sweat into their creations, and that they aren't just 'SPAWNED or SUMMONED' but given birth through creation. And if they perish.. it'd be like losing a child.

ANYWAYS thanks Darringtonpress for giving me the chance to think up this illustration! Was very fun to help on the larger project and be amongst some of the best illustrators I have ever worked with! -AJ
